Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Matt began his career with the United States Air Force in flight data operations and airfield management and was promoted five times during first six years of service.  He obtained his BA in Business Administration (cum laude) from Saint Leo University in three years while serving at Langley AFB.  Working for privately owned, entrepreneurial firms, Matt has held positions as Vice President in security operations, Director of Information Technology in hospitality and Strategic Account Executive in software sales while serving the Fortune 500.  Matt and Cathy have six children, reside on the Saint John’s River in Florida, enjoy boating, supporting local charities and fundraising events.
